Gummicube’s story begins in 1999 when its founders started one of the first mobile game publishers in the world. After pioneering some of the first branded multiplayer mobile entertainment experiences with games like Fox Poker Superstars and Slingo2Go, they were responsible for bringing countless brands into mobile with their own direct-to-consumer content, including Walmart, Best Buy, Cartoon Network, NBC Universal, Disney, Sony Pictures, and many others. This experience led to the founding of Gummicube in 2009 as the first App Store Optimization Company in the world. Gummicube App Store Intelligence is really from the App Stores, including proprietary search trends and semantic data that you simply can't get anywhere else. We spent eleven years to create just the right data set and software tuned for App Store Optimization. We did things the hard way - to provide the only true mobile-from-the-ground-up ASO solution.

We're not misrepresenting information from web search or mashing up Google API's to obtain our core data. In fact, tools that look or act like a Google Keyword Planner for apps are virtually useless - because they don't reflect how App Store Search really works.

You can't use web based search data or Web SEO techniques for App Store Optimization. Mobile Apps are a totally different world than websites and App Store Search is a totally different world than Web Search. The way users search (semantics), what users expect as a search result and trends are all completely different in the App Stores.
